Crumb Rubber is a technically innovative tyre rubber processor and supplier of fine rubber powder and rubber granules. The purpose built, highly automated design of the Crumb Rubber Plant stemmed from years of diverse experience in polymer technology and strong technical expertise of rubber processing. This resulted in the successful combination of various process technologies from around the world.
The equipment enables used truck and car tyres to be refined into ultra fine rubber powders in high volume for use as a stable raw material in the manufacture of a host of other products.
The quality of Crumb Rubber's powders means they can be used to replace expensive virgin rubber in applications such as tyre re-treading, and also to enhance the characteristics of novel plastic products such as roofing slates.
The company also produces coarser graded rubber granules that are used in applications such as FIFA standard sports pitches and carpet underlay.
Fine rubber powders and rubber granules are available in standard sizes and can be adjusted to meet individual client specifications.
State-of-the-art packaging equipment provides customers with flexible options, from "bulk bags" to "low-melt pouches".
